What our clients say:
“At the initial stages of developing the studio, the Directline team listened closely to what we needed and designed the building as closely as possible to our requirements. Their input and attention was excellent and the finished studio functions as we had hoped and is blending visually into its garden setting very quickly.”
– Terry Trott, Photographer
"We now have a great new building the finish of which, although unusual from a traditional point of view is exactly how it was envisaged originally, roomy, of good quality, colourful and above all, people friendly."

The Brief
This private commission came from Terry Trott a renowned photographer who was looking to build a fully functioning, commercial photographic studio in the grounds of his home.
Our brief was to create a building which offered a light interior suitable for various types of photography whilst allowing the studio to blend with its rural surroundings.
The resulting building met these criteria and looks entirely at home in its delightful grounds.

The Brief
Jubilee Church Community Centre was an interesting project. The church members wanted a contemporary feel with light and space to make it inviting to worshippers.
We designed the building with this brief in mind
and created a ‘people friendly’ environment, which
lends itself to multiple uses.
Developed using a steel frame, the church is bright and is internally designed to reflect the open ceiling work of traditional church design. The baptistery has many glazed units, which allow light to pool in this area, creating a feeling of light and tranquillity.
The complete project took 7 months and cost £400,000 (including fit out). |
